Scouting America today both locally and nationally

Paul Penttila has had Scouting in his blood ever since his mom brought him to a Cub Scout meeting at in West Palm Beach Florida where he grew up.

After college Paul realized he had some decisions to make; either graduate school or some employment.

Through the advice of his employer at the time, Paul chose to join the Gulf Stream Council, Boy Scouts of America, in Palm Beach Gardens FL. As an Eagle Scout I have used my skills, talents and abilities that I have gained in Scouting constantly as I work to serve more young people in my community.”

Paul has served Scouting now for over 33 years in 5 different councils. Paul is the 18th Scout Executive of the Nevada Area Council.

Paul and his wife Charlie have two sons, 4 grandchildren and two chihuahuas.
