Jorge Montano-Figueroa is a dedicated Pediatric Injury Prevention Specialist committed to protecting children from preventable harm. With a background in pediatric critical care, his experience as a Pediatric ICU nurse fuels his passion for proactive safety measures. At Renown Children’s Hospital and through Safe Kids Washoe County, Jorge harnesses data, advocacy, and community partnerships to improve child safety across Northern Nevada. He empowers families through education and evidence-based strategies, striving to create safer environments for every child.
